Bachelor of Theatre Arts (BTA)
This degree course is designed to develop and initiate students to a holistic approach the arts by exposing them to more than one art form. The course emphasizes orientation of the students to an integrated relation among various art forms while allowing them access to technicalities enforced by the study of Drama.

Admission Requirements
Bachelor of Performing Arts.
- Five “O” level credits including English or a Zambian language.
- Three “O” level credits with a Diploma from a tertiary institution recognized by the University.
- A letter of recommendation from past school, employer or an established performing artist, a proven record of active participation in debates, drama and dance of previous school or community theatre clubs.
- Concessionary admission to applicants of 45 years and above with proven evidence of participation in continuous learning through short courses, seminars and conferences.
- Any other qualification as may be determined and approved by the Senate.
Bachelor of Fine Arts.
- Five “O” level credits including English or a Zambia language.
- Three “O” level credits with a Diploma from a tertiary institution recognized by the University.
- A letter of recommendation from past school, employer or an established performing fine artist, a specimen of work or portfolio of craft.
- Pass in an aptitude test divided into painting, drawing in black and white, an illustrated essay and an interview.
- Concessionary admission to applicants of 45 years and above with proven evidence of participation in continuous learning through short courses, seminars and conferences.
- Any other qualification as may be determined and approved by the Senate.
